Budget & Destination

Firstly, and probably most importantly, the destination of your travels and the budget set is the start of your planning. Possibly set a budget of how much you think you are able to save up and earn, or how much you would like to spend on your travels so that a realistic plan can be made. Then for the fun part! - The destination, which country? which province? Which city? This part is entirely up to you and your personal presences, dreams and ambitions. Simply think of a place that you've always desired to travel to, or a location you have been curious about or even a landmark that you've always wanted to see in real life.

Time of year & duration

The time of travel and conditions play a major part in the experience that you have. This could be that the seasons are a major factor in the time you have away, for example the weather might be sunny during a certain time of the year and rainy in other times, and for some places; monsoon seasons, cold seasons and even heatwave seasons can influence your time away. The duration of travel will be effected by the budget and even the destination of your travel, as certain places only need short breaks and many places will need longer times to explore.

Flights & accommodation

The less fun part, spending money and booking flights and accommodation. Different times of the year and destinations will create a whole variety of prices to choose from, obviously cheaper options will be good value, but do take time to check through stoppages and flying hours as late night/early morning flights and flights with changes and stoppages will be cheaper to buy and in less demand. The accommodation can be one of the main parts of a holiday or travels for some people (me). Depending on what you're looking for, searches can be made for villas, hostels, hotels and more to suit your style.

Activities & packing

Once you have most things sorted, then activities and excursions can be booked! Depending on the time you go and the destination, excursions can be booked to be able to take part in certain activities, go on tours to certain places, and will help you to make unbelievable memories. Packing is also another important thing to note as you will need to pack for an excursion and for the destination you are going to visit. Once the trip has been planned, you will be able to pack as lightly or as efficiently as you like, knowing exactly where you are going, what you are doing and when you leave!
